My former 4th grade student and siblings have a fundraiser they have been working on for a couple years called Kid's Helping Kid's Fix Broken Hearts. They sell dish towels to raise money for heart surgeries for children who need these surgeries but families can't afford it in Mexico. This is more than heart warming, it is tear jerking. Download the video and you will agree! I know these kids, at the International Baccalaureate School at Hayden Meadows Elementary School, who have raised over $50,000 and are responsible for 15+ heart surgeries thus far (my numbers are only a guess). This should not only be local news, it should be National News.
