SPOKANE, Wash.-- The Tom's Tailgate Weather voting ended Wednesday night at 11:00. The winning high school football game was determined by combining mobile votes and the desktop votes. Here were the final results:
Moscow at Clarkston- 52%
Lakeside (Nine Mile) at Kellogg - 48%
Each week, KREM 2 News selects two local football games. Students, parents and football fans are asked to vote for which football game Chief Meteorologist Tom Sherry visits on the following Friday.
The winning schools will be visited by Tom on game day. The Tom’s Tailgate Weather segment is featured live on KREM 2 News at 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. The winning two schools each receive a check for $222.
A Tom’s Tailgate Weather record was set in October 2013 when KREM.com received 65,643 votes as students from St. Maries and Orofino competed against students from Newport and Chewelah
