SPOKANE-- Late October rains saturated the ground after a long string of dry weather in the Inland Northwest.
As of November 1st, in 2012 the Spokane area picked up 15.5 inches of rain; nearly 3.5 inches above normal.
Dry days held on into early October, but by the middle of the month Mother Nature left the Inland Northwest saturated.
Spokane ended October with more moisture than expected. Thursday November 1st was the 12th consecutive day with measurable rain.
