SPOKANE-- Severe weather is making its way to the Inland Northwest.
Thunder and lightning were already in the area by early Friday morning, but the system is expected to increase as the day continues. The StormTracker 2 team predicts the strongest storms will batter the area throughout late afternoon.
Thunderstorms capable of heavy rainfall caused the National Weather service to issue multiple severe weather advisories, including thunderstorm and flood warnings.
Up to baseball size hail could fall in some areas, as well as hard rain and damaging winds.
