Severe weather rolls in across the Inland Northwest

Showers and thunderstorms likely. Some storms could be severe, with large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 78. West wind around 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch until 8 p.m. for north Central Idaho, Okanogan, Spokane, Whitman County and Asotin County.

A flash flood watch continues in North Idaho for Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai, Latah and Shoshone County. In Washington a flash flood watch is in effect for Douglas, Ferry, Grant, Lincoln, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Spokane and Stevens County.
