OAKESDALE, Wash.-- Neighbors say flooding near state Highway 27 is some of the worst they've seen in years.

In Tekoa, water didn’t make it onto the street. In other spots off of state Highway 27, residents were above the mess.
Monday’s flooding was an unexpected guest outside neighbors' doors given the mild winter.
Along the Palouse it just takes a slight change in elevation before a road finds itself under water.
Neighbors say they experienced some of the worst flooding since the 90s.
