SPOKANE-- A flash flood watch is in effect for the Idaho Panhandle and northeastern Washington.
Thunderstorms capable of heavy rain are expected Sunday in the area.
The flash flood watch is in effect for: Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai, Latah and Shoshone counties in Idaho, and Ferry, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Spokane and Stevens counties in Washington.

Slow moving storms will produce heavy rain through the evening, especially over the northern and central Panhandle.
A flood advisory is in effect for Okanogan County.
A flood warning is in effect for Sanders County, Southern Lake County and Missoula County in Montana.
