CHENEY, Wash. -- An Eastern Washington University basketball player has been in contact with his mother and other family members in Paterson, New Jersey, a town that sustained damage in Superstorm Sandy.
Justin Crosgile is a red shirt junior, committed to playing for the Eagles for the next two years.
His home town did not get devastated in the way some did in the storm, but the power remains out for his family. His mother, who is taking care of Crosgile’s 3-year-old son, said they are doing okay with food and supplies.
As Crosgile focuses on school and basketball, he said his heart goes out to those at his other home.
