NEAR BREWSTER, Wash.-- Nearly 200 firefighters battled a wildfire Friday burning near Brewster, Washington.
Overnight, the Crane Road Fire grew to more than 15 square miles. Fire crews managed to contain the fire to grass, timber, and wheat land.
It did force a handful of evacuations but those homeowners are now allowed to return home. Authorities said there is no longer a threat to homes.
At least check, crews estimated the fire was about 50% contained.
