Cold, frosty morning across the Inland Northwest

Weather Update: 5:00 a.m. (12-7-17)

SPOKANE, Wash.—Thursday will be off to a cold start.

Drivers should give themselves enough time to defrost their windshields if their morning commute starts before sunrise. 

Drivers should also be alert this morning because there is potential for freezing fog.

There are areas of dense fog along the southern portions of the Palouse.

It is a fairly clear start to the day in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene.

Thursday afternoon is expected to be partly cloudy.

Highs on Thursday will be in the 30’s.

Quiet and dry weather continues for the rest of the week.
