Wild winds rip through the Inland Northwest Monday. A Red Flag Warning is in effect for much of Eastern Washington from 11a.m. until 11p.m. due to the strong winds and low relative humidity bringing a potential for fires to spread quickly. Also, a Wind Advisory is in place-we're expecting sustained wind speeds between 20-30mph with gusts up to 45mph by this afternoon. Blowing dust could be a problem especially toward the Wenatchee, Ephrata, Moses Lake and Ritzville areas.

Temperatures will be slightly cooler than the hot weekend-we'll be warming up to 77 degrees under mostly sunny skies. The pesky winds should die down by Tuesday afternoon.
