This afternoon highs in the upper 40s--unseasonably warm and wet. Look for lots of showery weather to continue.
Still looking at a Flood Watch for portions of the Inland Northwest in Shoshone County until 10am today who are still looking at another 1.5" possible this morning.
Thanksgiving travels...beware! If you're traveling through the passes--the weather WILL impact you. A winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Cascade Passes until 7pm. If your traveling through the east slopes of the north Cascades look for 5-11" of snow aboe 2,500'. In the Clearwater Mountains, this advisory is in effect until 4am Thursday aboe 4,500'. Look for 3-8" of snow about 4,500'.
The winds are expected to pick up later today in the south central Columbia Basin and upper Columbia Basin as well as the Palouse areas--who are in a Wind Advisory from 7am-4pm today. Look for winds from the SW 20-30 (Gusts 50)mph. Winds will peak after 7am and peak in the early afternoon.
