The heat returns to the Inland Northwest. Look for daytime highs to warm up a good 5-10 degrees Monday afternoon around the region. So far, it looks like a mostly dry day; some areas could see a pop-up shower or two.
Tuesday, mostly cloudy skies will linger over the area with wet weather moving in that night. Potential thunderstorms could arrive Wednesday and stick around through Thursday with cooler temps.
Sunnier, drier, and warmer weather should be here just in time for next weekend.
