Good morning! Many folks around the Inland Northwest are waking up to a nice little blanket of snow on the ground this Friday morning. Temperatures headed out the door are in the upper 20s to low 30s and should remain in the mid 30 range for most of the afternoon.

Looks like low pressure moving slowly across NE Washington, will keep most of our snow activity towards areas north in NE Washington and the North Idaho Panhandle, pushing up towards the Canada border.

Most of our snow should taper off as we go through the afternoon with drier, but temperatures should cold going into the weekend with highs in the low to mid 30s.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 4pm today for most of NE Washington and North Idaho. Snow accumulations should be about 2-3", with a few real local areas looking at the potential of up to 5 or 6". Look for gusty winds, especially towards Coeur d'Alene.

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for portions of Idaho county until 4pm today for additional snow accumulations.
