SPOKANE, Wash. -- A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is in effect until 8 PM for for Adams, Asotin, Benton, Clark, Franklin, Garfield, Grant, Lincoln, & Whitman Counties.

A RED FLAG WARNING for almost the entire Inland Northwest until tonight and tomorrow afternoon due to fire concern caused by threat of approaching storms.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH in effect for Okanogan and Wenatchee areas through Thursday evening. Pockets of heavy rainfall causing flooding concern over wildfire burn scar areas.

A stormy Tuesday expected across the INW with potentially strong storms arriving mostly later today, with the potential to bring gusty outflow winds, abundant lightning and flash flooding possible.

Tonight we will see a much better chance of thunderstorms and scattered showers. Windy late with lows overnight in the mid 60s.

Wednesday look for another chance of showers and thunderstorms as our fire concerns continue into mid week. Highs in the upper 80s, back to seasonal.
