Not only are we dealing with freezing temperatures, now another round of snowfall is set to move in Monday. Overnight, look for lows to drop back to the single digits and teens under mostly cloudy skies. Before the sun rises, snow showers will develop in the northern communities.
The storm will migrate south throughout the day -- giving extreme Eastern Washington and North Idaho good bets at seeing some snowfall. A Winter Weather Advisory will go into effect at 7am Monday and last through 4pm. Look for anywhere between 1 to 3 inches in the Northern Panhandle and 2 inches in Spokane, Pullman and Lewiston. The heaviest snowfall will happen midday before winding down throughout the night.
Cool but dry conditions return Tuesday. Look for below-average temperatures and partly sunny skies for most of the work week.
Enjoy the snowfall while its here! -DG
