It's going to be a messy kind of Wednesday. Slushy conditions kick off the morning as temperatures warm well above-normal and help melt some of the snow on the ground. Look for scattered rain showers throughout the day with some wild winds. Gusts could top out around 40mph. The winds though will make those mild temps feel a little cooler. Daytime highs will be in the mid-40s.

The deep freeze sets in overnight as we cool off to the mid-20s. Look for a slight chance of snow showers overnight and into Thursday too. Temps only climb to the lower 20s for the weekend, but hey, we'll see some sunshine!

Hope you have good rain boots! -DG
