SPOKANE -- Another round of snow is expected in the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area Monday afternoon.

Look for snow to re-develop with increasing totals expected into this evening and the overnight hours. Most of Eastern Washington and areas north of the Central Panhandle are looking at new snow totals with a second system of wintery weather expected to move through this afternoon.

This afternoon look for highs in the low 30s with some melting, but more snow on the way.

A Winter Storm Warning is still in effect for most of the Central Panhandle, Shoshone, Kootenai and Whitman Counties until early Tuesday, some expiring Tuesday afternoon. Highest snow amounts will be found in the Idaho Palouse  & NE Blue Mtns. (8-15" new snow) and the Central Panhandle Mountains (1-2' new snow).

An avalanche warning is in effect this afternoon through Tuesday for new snow and warming temperatures melting some snow. Similar situation on Wednesday.

Highs in the mid-30's Thursday-Sunday.
