Get ready for it -- snow showers are on the way to the Inland Northwest. The storm looks to move in overnight into Monday morning. It could make the morning commute a bit messy, so give yourself a few extra minutes.
Expect 1 to 3 inches of snowfall in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene by Monday afternoon. Valleys in northeastern Washington could see anywhere between 1 to 4 inches, while the mountains could tack on another 3 to 8 inches. Behind the storm, winds will be gusty anywhere between 15-30mph.
Look for a brief break Tuesday before another storm arrives Wednesday. It looks weak, but enough to give us a few showers and put a damper on the day. Temps warm to the upper 40s by the end of the work week.
Don't forget to slow your roll for the Monday morning commute! -DG
