Merry Christmas!

Most areas have stayed cool and dry for the bulk of the Christmas morning and afternoon with light snow and scattered drizzle approaching the Inland Northwest and Spokane this evening.

Look for little to no accumulation--with the exception being the Cascades and the passes. If you're traveling to or from for the holidays and plan on heading over I-90 through the Cascades be prepared for the possibility of more in terms of snow accumulations.

Tonight, Spokane is looking at light snow, little accumulation. Most areas won't see more than an 1". No watches/warnings for Eastern WA or North Idaho... I'll keep you posted if that changes.

Tomorrow... snow chance in the morning with precipitation potential percentages lowering as we go into the afternoon--meaning, the later you leave or head home, the less likely you'll run into snow.

The rest of the work week, as of now--is looking mostly dry and cool.

Hope you're having a safe and wonderful holiday!

Remember to snap and share your favorite holiday pictures and send those in to pics@krem.com
