Get ready for round two of our vigorous late winter weather.
We're waking up to a band of snow and rain showers across the Columbia Basin, and all of this activity will move east later this morning. Most lower elevation areas won't see much in terms of accumulation, but in the mountains several inches to over a foot of snow could fall in some areas of NE Washington, N. Idaho and the Central Panhandle Mountains.
With plenty of new snow and rain, the NWS has put a number of wind and winter weather warnings, advisories in effect through the next couple of days.
A Winter Storm Warning in effect from 10am to 4am Saturday.
Possible Snow Accumulations:
N. Idaho Panhandle--6-10", Central Panhandle Mountains 2-5" valleys, 7-13" mountains, NE Blue Mtns. 1-2" valleys, 5-10" mountains and the NE Mountains 6-10".
