SPOKANE, Wash. -- A wind advisory is in effect for most of Eastern Washington and North Idaho for Monday.
The advisory goes into effect at 1 a.m. Monday and lasts until 5 p.m. Monday.
Winds will be out of the west at 30-40 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
Spotty wind gusts of 50 mph will be possible between midnight and 6 a.m. in the Palouse and Pomeroy area.
Widespread strong gusty winds will be found across the region through late Monday afternoon.
Blowing dust could cause poor visibility in parts of the Columbia Basin including along I-90 and Highway 2.
