The snow is finally slowing down tonight but it left us with an absolute winter wonderland around the region! Light snow showers will linger across the northern mountain areas and the Silver Valley. We could see an additional 1 inch in the valleys, 2-4 inches up in the mountains. Mountain passes could be messy overnight, so be ready for wintry driving conditions.
Patchy fog will develop late tonight and stick around for your Tuesday morning commute in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene. Look for mainly cloudy skies to drape the area with a few possible showers to the north.
Drier conditions continue through most of the week and daytime highs warm back to the mid-40s. The next shot for showers is next Sunday into Monday.
Happy sledding! -DG
