Snow will begin to fall Wednesday afternoon and increase in intensity Wednesday night and possible turning to rain Thursday. A winter weather advisory for the Spokane/Coeur d'alene area is in effect for both those days. 1"-4" of snowfall is possible. Heavier snow is expected north of Spokane and Coeur d'alene with snowfall totals in the valleys reaching 8"-to 14" . A winter storm warning for those areas is in effect for Wednesday and Thursday.
