(SNOQUALMIE PASS, Wash.) -- A late April strom has brought winter-like conditions to I-90 over Snoqualmie Pass, WA.
**UPDATE** Traction tires advised over Snoqualmie Pass as of 11 a.m with snow and slush on the road.
As of 10 a.m. Monday, chains were required for all vehicles except AWD. It was snowing, hard at times, with snow, slush and ice on the roadway.
The State. Dept. of Transportation also warns there are rock blasting related closures scheduled Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Crews will close I-90 in both directions from Hyak (milepost 54) to Price Creek (milepost 61). Due to the nature of blasting operations, closures may last longer than an hour. Wednesday, May 1, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. This blast has the potential to create a very long closure of 4 hours. Westbound traffic will be stopped at Easton and eastbound traffic will be stopped at Hyak
