Hope you're wearing green! And maybe a coat too.
Strong storm moving in Saturday night into Sunday. It's spreading scattered showers across the region, and will continue overnight. Look out for some wintry driving conditions if you're heading across Lookout Pass. Snow will build up a bit out there. You'll hear the wind howling tonight, gusts could be as high as 35mph. Overnight lows will fall to freezing in Spokane and even colder in the High Country areas.
The wild winds return Sunday, so hang onto your hats. We could see a few scattered showers with sun breaks squeezed in between. Daytime highs will be in the mid-40°s but feel a lot cooler with the wind.
Looks like a brief break in between systems. Wednesday is the first day of spring! And it looks like it'll be a classic spring-like Inland Northwest kind of day: rain, wind and chilly temps.
Hope with the luck of the Irish, we'll see some sunshine Sunday! Cheers! -DG
