Spokane Jail reaches 'critical' status over Thanksgiving weekend

Lt. Jaymes Hughes said 206 people were booked into the jail from Wednesday, Nov. 21 through Sunday, Nov. 25. the jail had to turn away people with lesser criminal offenses because there was not enough space to house all the inmates.
