ISBOE approves Vandals step towards independence, Big Sky

The state board voted 5-1 to approve independent football scheduling for the Vandals beginning in 2013, and allow the Vandals to accept an invitation to the Big Sky Conference beginning in the 2013-2014 season in "Olympic" sports.
