SPOKANE, Wash. -- New court documents shed light on the moments leading up to a fatal shooting outside The Hop concert venue.

Julian Morrison, 26, was shot to death September 8th outside the venue on Monroe Street.  Kalen Bedford, 23, and Carlos Fuentes, 25, were arrested and were charged with 1st degree murder in the case.

According to the court documents, witnesses said Fuentes bumped into Morrison at The Hop the night of the shooting.  One witness claimed to have seen Morrison turn and look at Fuentes and state "murder one."

The court documents then stated Morrison went outside to smoke not long after Fuentes and his crew left.  A short time later, witnesses said shots were fired.  According to their reports, Bedford fired shots and then calmly walked away with Fuentes.

A confidential informant claimed the confrontation between Morrison and Fuentes started over women.  The same informant told investigators Bedford and Fuentes showed no emotion but shot Morrison "in cold blood."
