Get ready for some winter weather in the mountains! We're talking snow in the mountains, rain in the valleys as well as wild winds late Saturday night into Sunday.

A Winter Storm Warning will be in effect through Sunday afternoon for the Northeastern Mountains, North Idaho and the Central Panhandle Mountains. Look for 6-10 inches above 3,500 feet as well as blowing and drifting snow along mountain passes. It'll be a windy day for the Columbia Basin as a Wind Advisory goes from 7am to 7pm Sunday. Sustained wind speeds will be between 20-30mph with gusts as high as 45 mph.

Don't bother with the umbrella tomorrow -- it'll be toast anyway! Stay dry! -DG
