SPOKANE -- A fire damaged a building in Spokane’s Garland District Wednesday afternoon.

Firefighters arrived to the building in the 700 block of W. Garland to find smoke pouring out of the window. The building is next door to Masterpiece Memories.

Flames caused damage to the second floor of the building.

Firefighters said the building is filled with boxes and clutter.
