SPOKANE -- Spokane Police are looking for a man who they suspect may be casing homes on Spokane's Lower South Hill.  Neighbors said tracks in the snow tipped them off that something was not right.

Police said the suspect has been seen in the area on Monroe between 6th and 9th Avenue.  Neighbors have reported finding shoe prints close to ground level windows.

"It makes me feel a little uneasy because I live on the bottom floor," said neighbor Thai Kongchunji.  "It was up higher, they couldn't break it to get to my stuff but, anybody could walk by and see what I have.  I could be sleeping.  It's not hard to break in so I'm a little nervous about that."

Kongchunji said he does not know if it was a prowler.  But hearing of a suspect in the area has left him uneasy.

Anyone with information on the suspected prowler is urged to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
