Police stop drivers on Mission to investigate unsolved hit and run

SPOKANE, Wash. -- There was extra police activity along Mission and South Riverton Sunday night. Officers were seeking tips about a fatal hit and run that happened on February 9 around 9 p.m.

Officers were hoping to find a witness. They put up signs Sunday night asking drivers to pull to the side of the road if they had any information.

Don Foster, 55, was crossing the street when a car hit him. Witnesses said several other cars hit Foster after the initial collision.

Police said they are hoping to identify a gold SUV which is a vehicle of interest in the case.
