SPOKANE -- Spokane Police said they arrested a 16-year-old boy after he stabbed his mother in the scalp with a pocket knife multiple times.
Officers responded to the home in the 2100 block of Southeast Blvd. around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Authorities said the woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The teenager faces First Degree Assault charges.
Police said a 13-year-old boy called 911 when the stabbing happened and recovered the knife.
