SPOKANE -- Labor Day weekend is not even over yet, but this year’s Pig Out in the Park is on par to be one of the most successful one in years.
With one more day to go, nearly 80,000 people have already come to feast at dozens of food booths.
Organizers said sales are up 4% compared to 2011.
Several vendors said the picture perfect weather conditions over the weekend may be one of the reasons for the success. Organizers said it is the best weather conditions for the event in a decade.
