SPOKANE—Spokane Police responded to a “takeover style robbery” over Memorial Day weekend on a McDonald’s on Spokane’s South Hill.
Authorities said four suspects entered the store around 10 p.m. on 4600 S. Regal on May 25 and robbed several people inside the business.
Detectives said the suspects were all wearing black clothing with masks and fled on foot.
Six of the victims were Ferris High School students. Sophomore Greyson Williamson says he knows several of them and word has slowly spread around school about the attack. “They came in with ski masks and guns and they just held everybody up and they took a lot of phones. “
Police say the victims cooperated and no one got hurt. The four then walked away from the McDonalds before police got there.
Officers arrived and searched the area but were unable to locate any suspects.
