SPOKANE, Wash.-- A Moses Lake girl’s dream came true Thursday night when she privately met members of Rascal Flatts. Kelli Ritter celebrated her 16th birthday and six years in remission from leukemia on Thursday too.

Ritter posted a picture on KREM 2 News’ Facebook page asking to meet the band. The photo went viral and reached radio deejays in Sandpoint, Idaho. Ritter’s mother, Josie, contacted the deejays who helped set up a meet and greet prior to Rascal Flatts’ concert in Spokane.

“The lead singer Gary came off stage to sing with Kelli on the side.  I can not express how much I appreciate everyone’s help in making this wish come true,” said Josie Ritter.
