SPOKANE, Wash. --Your generous donations totaled more than $40,000 during the KREM Cares Help 2 Oklahoma fundraiser.
KREM 2 News collected thousands of dollars Wednesday thanks to the generosity of local viewers. The day-long event raised funds for families devastated by the tornado that tore through Moore, OK.
Red Cross volunteers, Clear Channel personalities, Dutch Bros. employees, and the KREM 2 News crew came together to collect the money.
A big thank you goes out to everyone who donated time collecting money and to those who donated.
People dropped off more than $10,000 at our nine drop-off locations in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene. The total includes money donated at area Dutch Bros.
The Help 2 Oklahoma campaign also was received two major corporate gifts. Clearwater Paper Co. donated $10,000 and Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories gave $25,000.

Donating to the Red Cross can be done using a cell phone. People can donate $10 by sending the text message “REDCROSS” to 90999. The organization is also accepting donations on its website.
