HARRISON, Idaho--Rising waters from Lake Coeur d'Alene and the Coeur d'Alene River are causing flood problems in the town of Harrison, Idaho and now organizers of a big fishing tournament are scrambling to make changes.
Nathan Clute came to Harrison with friends to compete in an annual pike fishing tournament.
Clute says because of rising waters the camp hosts are letting them use another site.
An entry ramp sits submerged in 2 ½ feet of rising water from Lake Coeur d’Alene, so the owner of the marina asked the county for permission to have a floating dock brought in. Harrison dock builders installed the temporary dock.
Now competitors can launch and go fishing into the lake without getting wet.
