Coeur d'Alene warming center opens Monday night

COUER D’ALENE, Idaho.--The Fresh Start Emergency Overnight Warming Center in Coeur d’Alene will be open for the first time in the 2013-2014 winter season on Monday night.

The doors open at 7 p.m. and will remain open until 12 p.m. on Tuesday. The center also plans to be open on Tuesday evening and will be remain open until 12 p.m. on Wednesday.

The Fresh Start Emergency Overnight Center will open any night the temperature is expected to be 25 degrees or lower.

The center offers something hot to eat, hot coffee, rest rooms, laundry facilities, hot showers and telephone and internet access. Lights are out at 10 p.m. and there is a 6 a.m. wake up call.
