SPOKANE, Wash. -- Police wanted to find out who was at fault in a crash involving one of their on-duty officers.
The collision happened around 8 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Market and Wellesley. Police said the officer had his emergency lights on and looked both ways before entering the intersection, where he was then broadsided by another car.
The driver of the other car was treated for some aches and pains. No other injuries were reported.
Police launched an investigation into the crash.
