SPOKANE, Wash. -- The SNAP website crashed Wednesday afternoon. The company said more than 3,000 energy assistance appointments were set through the online system despite the crash.
The website crashed when the first wave of energy assistance appointments opened. SNAP leaders said the website was back up and running by Wednesday afternoon and all web appointments had been filled.
SNAP leaders said there are still many appointments to be filled over the phone and they encourage anyone to call their hotline to see if they qualify at (509)-242-2376.
