Seattle Seahawks players and coaches were greeted at Sea-Tac Airport by excited fans after returning home from their big playoff win Monday morning. More fans were waiting when the team returned to their headquarters at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton around 1 a.m.

“I’m just still pumped up!” said Jeff Hofer. “We took care of business and we’re ready to roll and take on the Falcons. Go Hawks!”

A few players posted on their Twitter accounts. Safety Kam Chancellor posted “I really love how the 12s sent us off right and brought us back in right at the airport!!”

Quarterback Russell Wilson tweeted, “Back in Seattle! There's no place like home! (hashtag)GoHawks Blessed to make it home safely. (hashtag)NoTime2Sleep.”

Next up for the Seahawks are the Atlanta Falcons. Former Falcons wide receiver Brian Finneran said the Seahawks defense will need to be on its “A” game if the team wants to beat the top seed in the NFC.

“This will be a totally different game then what they got from the Redskins,” said Finneran. “They throw the ball more. The Falcons have not been great this year running the football. So I think the key for Seattle is to slow down the receiver corps if they want a chance to pull this one off.”

The game will be Sunday at 10 a.m. If the Seahawks win, they will again go on the road to face the winner of Saturday's Green Bay Packers - San Francisco 49ers game for the NFC Championship.
