A wild day of of weather this morning and picking up as we go into our afternoon.

Heavy rain at times times morning for Eastern Washington. This is leading to our Flood Watch until late Tuesday, where we could see 1-3" of rain before this rain event is said and done.

Besides the rain, we're looking at very gusty winds this morning. Look for wind gusts 25-35mph this morning, but increasing to gusts as high as 55 mph later this afternoon. There is a Wind Advisory for just about everyone in the Inland Northwest this morning in effect from 8am to 10pm.

Stronger winds for SE Washington, especially Lewiston and the WA/ID Palouse. A High Wind Warning is in effect  from 8am to 10pm. Winds: 25-40 (Gusts 65mph, Blue Mountains: Gusts up to 70 mph).

Look for the rain and wind to continue through this afternoon. Rain likely through Wednesday, with our next look at a drier day Thursday.
