SPOKANE, Wash.-Major Crimes detectives have investigated eleven homicides since the start of 2013, but police said not one of those suspected killers are free.

Recently, police have caught suspects in four different murders within 72 hours of the crime according to Spokane Police Department leaders. Officers caught the suspects in the Mark Peterson murder cast and the Delbert Belton murder suspects all within 72 hours of the crimes.

SPD leaders said there have been eleven murders in 2013 and all of them have been solved.

“We always put as many resources as we feel appropriate into the investigation and we work those cases 24 hours a day,” said Lt. Mark Griffiths.

Major Crimes detectives said while they are happy with how quick they have locked up these alleged killers, their work is not done until it all plays out in court.
