COEUR D'ALENE -- The winners of the Coeur d'Alene Ironman crossed the finish line Sunday afternoon, more than eight hours after they started the triathlon.
For them men, Francisco Pontano came in first place, with a time of 8 hours, 32 minutes, and 12 seconds.
For the women, Tyler Stewart won. Her time was 9 hours, 23 minutes, and 21 seconds.
Triathletes will continue crossing the finish line until midnight, when the course officially closes.
