SPOKANE, Wash. -- Pig Out in the Park organizers are spending a lot more on this year’s festivities.

Organizers said most of the money is going to entertainment. They said they are adding a second stage and bringing in acts from across the country and overseas.

It is going to cost $20,000 more than it did last year.  Sponsors and customer sales are helping pay the bill.

Vendors will also start selling smaller snack for a smaller price that has been a request for years.

“Every night from 10 to 11 we will do $3 bites so everyone can sample every booth at a less expensive fortune,” said Organizer Bill Burke.

Last year, Pig Out in the Park had its biggest turnout ever with more than 96,000 event goers.
