SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash--A new farmers’ market opened Tuesday in Spokane Valley. Neighbors in the Veradale area started the market at 16801 E. Sprague to sell fresh produce.
Vendors said they expect business to pick up in the weeks ahead. Organizers also expect more vendors to join each week.
“It takes time and it takes commitment and perseverance, just to come and have a good time," said vendor Teri King.
The farmers’ market will be open through the summer at the Spokane Valley Eagles’ parking lot on Tuesday from 2 to 6 p.m.
