SPOKANE, Wash. -- Temperatures on Sunday will be well above normal for Bloomsday.

Sunday will likely bring hotter temperatures than we've seen in the past few years.

The last time it was in the 70's on Bloomsday was in 2004. Many people needed to visit the medical tent that year.

Participants aren't all fans of the spike in temperatures but aren't worried about getting through the race.

Medical Tents are always placed along the course. One will be placed at the finish line as well as in Riverfront Park.

Medical aid volunteers will wear red vests.
