WHITMAN COUNTY, Wash. -- Court documents filed on Thursday in Whitman County court revealed new details about the death of a Malden teenager. An anonymous witness told investigators that Donavin Stapert, 17, passed out and died from eating chunks of methamphetamine.

Stapert went missing in early March.Court documents say a witness told Whitman County Sargeant he went to a home in Malden. The home of Bobby Bilderback and Chastity Bilderback.

Authorities arrested Bobby Bilderback, James  Ramson and Chastity Bilderback. They all face charges in connection with Stapert’s death.

The witness said that Stapert died on March 6th according to court documents. The files also say the suspects took his body upstairs and put him into a safe and left him there for a few days.

The witness also told investigators that they discussed dumping the body somewhere in eastern or southern Oregon. Police believe that eventually the suspects loaded the safe into a vehicle and dumped the body.  A tip led police to a location near Chattaroy where they found a body on Wednesday afternoon.

Whitman County and Spokane County authorities found the body buried about four feet underground in a wooded area. The body still needs to be positively identified by the Spokane County Medical Examiner.

One of the suspects also admitted to running cocaine and meth across the Western U.S.
